ABSTRACT
O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um caso clínicode clareamento de dente despolpado, seguindo critérios que evitam a reabsorçãocervical. Durante o clareamento de dentes despolpados, pode haver extravazamentode material para o ligamento periodontal e propiciar a reabsorção óssea eradicular, que, muitas vezes, é assintomática. Em função da busca constante pordentes brancos e estéticos, deve existir a preocupação do cirurgião-dentista emconhecer a prevalência, etiologia, formas de prevenção e tipos de tratamento dareabsorção cervical
